The El Pilar Forest Garden Network

Master forest gardeners in the community maintain their home gardens, support demonstration gardens at Känan K’aax, and help in the Tzunu’un garden amidst the archaeological structures of El Pilar. The master gardeners formed the El Pilar Forest Garden Network, dedicated to educating the public on the techniques of traditional forest gardening and the value of these time-honored strategies.
